Jody Perkins Ryan is primarily responsible for the Firm’s
business litigation practice. Ms. Ryan also handles employment and
workers’ compensation issues and provides support to the Firm’s
Internet law practice. Ms. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
in International Business from Muskingum College. She also attended
the University de Nancy in Nancy, France, sponsored by the Indiana
University of Pennsylvania as well as American University where
she participated in the Washington Semester Program studying criminal
justice. Ms. Ryan graduated from Case Western Reserve University
School of Law in 1990 where she was active in several international
law activities. Ms. Ryan was appointed to the Jessup International
Law Moot Court Team acting as Team Coordinator. After law school,
she joined the law firm of Willacy, Lopresti & Marcovy as a
litigation associate where she gained significant experience in
workers’ compensation, civil trial and appellate defense litigation.
Ms. Ryan was thereafter associated with Roderick, Myers & Linton
in Akron, Ohio practicing business litigation. Ms. Ryan is a member
of the Ohio State Bar Association, Women in the Profession Section
and the Cleveland Bar Association's Litigation, Labor and Employment
Sections.
