John Varga joined the firm following his return to Ohio after managing an immigration practice for a well-regarded Beverly Hills California firm. Mr. Varga is a graduate of John Carroll University with a BA in political science. He also completed substantial coursework in History and German. He completed his legal studies at Case Western Reserve University College of Law.
Following law school, Mr. Varga developed his expertise in immigration law and provided counsel to corporate clients through the United States and abroad. His extensive experience includes intra-company transfers, specialty workers for corporations, extraordinary ability artists and scientists, treaty-trader investors, exceptional ability/national interest waivers for computer programmers, medical researchers and actors & performers.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Varga taught immigration law at the UCLA extension in Los Angeles. He speaks German and Japanese, writes Hiragana, Katakana and most basic Kanji. He is an “on-call” instructor for the Japanese Language School in Mayfield Hts., Ohio as well as a legal referral source for the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit.
Mr. Varga is admitted to the practice of law in Ohio, the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th and 9th Circuits and all U.S. Immigration Courts.
